Taking this set of images was one of those magical experiences that come along once in a while. The kits were so photogenic and curious.
A couple of family members have this picture hanging on their walls. The picture of the kit with the stick in his mouth took first place in a local contest a couple of years ago. I'm very pleased with this set of images.

Yes, the life seemed to get drained out of this site for quite a long time, mostly due to technical problems and no maintenance. I am absolutely fortunate to have such a wide variety of Wildlife and Nature close by. Hi Andre, it is so nice to hear from an old friend. You are fortunate to have access to such wonderful wildlife. This is a beauty! I see the date is in 13' so you haven't been here as much. It was nice paling around back when, and it would be nice if the site gets its legs back like before. See you here more I hope. I'm going to try to spend more time.

Hi Andre, long time no see photos. On a whim I clicked my "usefilm" bookmark and - surprise.
Nice shot of the owl, crisp detail and spot on lighting. My current monitor is a second hand flat screen, and I really can't see this well. Glad to see you are still at it. I have not been taking/seeing photos much at all. I see the website! Will check it.
Oh, and we have some barred chickens. I think I can sneak in for a close up....

It seems Usefilm has kind of cut it's own throat a bit by being away for over a year. Most of us have moved on to other sites I think. I started participating at Fotoblur. They have a pretty nice format and many users. Comments are almost always brief there. Also for a couple of years I have been working on my own site.

I have a lot to learn about putting together a website. But I'm improving. Please visit when you get a chance. It is mostly Nature and Wildlife of Southern Ontario, with a few other things thrown in. Let me know what you think of it.
I was meaning to tell you that I saw your beautiful "Misty Forest" image that received Honourable Mention in Outdoor Photography Canada magazine page 29. Many congratulations for that!!

Another find image. They are all good however.
I love the details you get in your nature shots
This is well composed with just the right amount
