Wonderful scape shot Petal - good inclusion of the little pier jutting into the frame and well composed. Love the soft and warm colors in the sky and illuminating the clouds as well. Nicely captured!

Hi Cessy,
A wonderful street capture - with so much going on in this photo, you can sense the motion of the city. The angle in which you've captured this is excellent, incorporating the subtle reflections off the window as well. Very nicely done my friend

Hi Jackie, love the soft colors to this - feels like a dream. I just recently played around with close-up filters and never knew how much fun it could be. I really like the DOF and blur you can achieve - and this shot shows it. Nice work.

Hey Marcus,
Just checking out your shot of the Montara Lighthouse - beautiful! Love the saturated colors to this. I really like this angle as well since it incorporates so much more of the landscape. I'll have to get back out there again when I have time.

Hey Marcus, thanks for letting me what the lighthouse was called - I had no idea since I'm not familiar with this area. My brother and I went out to the Half Moon Bay area a while ago to try and capture some sunset shots and the light was fading - so we just ended up pulling into a little residential alleyway along the coast and I saw this lighthouse.

Very nice portrait Robert - lots of character from the man's clothes and interest from the bird. I'd like a little more impact with the tones but nevertheless soothing - wonderful work.

Great long exposure shot Ibrahim - love the lights and the smoothness to the water. The hard angle creates a nice dynamic composition to this shot. Very well done.

Good solid capture with plenty of interest with the intersecting branches. Very nice yellow bird you have captured Sam.

It does look better to me Rob. Now that I look again, it may also just be your exposure that threw me off because the upper colors looks so smooth

Hey Rob,
Normally, I love your blue skies, but in this shot, it seems to overpower and seems inconsistent with the rest of the image. I feel the colors are a bit oversaturated for this one I think capturing the natural colors from the rising sun without a polarizer would've been sufficient for this particular shot. Just my thoughts

Wonderful shot of this heron, perching on top on the tree Roberto. Never noticed how long their necks are

The color and peaceful atmosphere to this capture are amazing. Looking at this image definately makes me feel relaxed. A beautiful sight and wonderfully captured Mary, great photo - nothing to critique.

Hi James,
The blue tones indeed come from the Tungsten setting. I usually like to use the Tungsten WB for these close-up water drop shots as I feel it really enhances the mood of the photo. Thanks for your comments!

Hi Petal, thanks for your honest comments as it made me realize I put it in the wrong project. I was actually deciding whether to put this in the Peace and Tranquility or Blurry Image project and in the end thought I had chosen Blurry Image. That's what happens when you upload late at night (or early in the morning)

Hi James,
I really like your long exposure light play images. There are so many colorful variations achievable and the results are always fascinating to view. Wonderful work.

The perspective makes this shot - well chosen. The rusted and deteriorating bits and pieces of the bridge adds nice texture and the solid lines found in the image create a good balance. Very nice shot James.

Top notch focus, angle, and composition Ibrahim. Love the softness around the image which really help the bee stand out. A small boost in color contrast to help illuminate the flower would've been a nice touch as well. Good work Ibrahim, and thank you for your comments on my image

Perfect perspective my friend! You've composed this perfectly with all the lines and patterns - the steps leading up directly to the statue creates a smooth flow to this image. Love the dark contrast between the statue and the rest of the image as well. Lots of textures and patterns - an excellent choice in B&W Paolo. Nice work!

Hello Roby, wonderful image you have presented us. The soft and cool colors of the fading light, lighting up the sky combined with the darker foreground which you have managed to keep details in is a perfect combination. The overall grain further enhances a feeling of calm and peacefulness. Well done.

Perfect simplicity and great focal point. The fog really adds to the peaceful atmosphere and the subtle movement of the water in the foreground is a great addition. Nice work Jinggoy and good to see you posting again.

Hi Rob, wonderful scape of Crater Lake. The colors from the clouds add nice warmth to the otherwise cold feeling from the foreground. I agree the colors look a bit weird on my end, but perhaps just an effect of the polarizer.

Such a dramatic and powerful light from the setting sun Ace. The atmosphere is greatly enhanced by the darker clouds and foreground - the wonderful cloud formations add nice depth as well. Very nice work.

Wow, instant favorite. Soft and smooth colors present such a calming atmosphere. I normally don't like horizons in the center, but in this case it works well to create a nice balance. Excellent work.

Beautiful blue tones for this landscape - such a soothing and relaxing atmosphere; should be a great entry for the new project. Love the composition with the darker foreground and the tree silhouette. The dead center horizon works quite well for this capture as well - excellent work!

You're right about the highlights Petal, I did overdo it a bit. It just didn't look like what I saw on the original image so I tried my best to match what I really saw.
