The photo gives me the feeling that all the tall buildings are chimneys and the clouds are smoke. I like the sharpness of focus and the high contrast. Darryl

Thank you Ayan, for taking the time to view and comment. I do like the shadows in the photo. If I had removed the shadow of the bell peppers then I would have had to remove all the shadows to be consistent. Shadows or no, I ate the bell peppers and they were good!

Thanks for your input. I remember way back in my college days taking an art class in which we had to do a pencil drawing of an object. I tried to include the bright reflections. The instructor liked the idea but I went a bit astray and had the angle of reflection different on separate pieces.

Thank you Jose. It was fun playing with different presentations. There are several that I kept. That's my big problem...deciding what to keep!

Thanks for your input on these peppers. When I saw the colors at the store, I just knew I had to shoot them.

Great capture Greg. I lived in Las Vegas for 7 years and never saw this kind of bird. Great capture with color, DOF, and clarity of focus. Darryl

Ayan, I've seen many Egrets but have never seen any with the gold cast on these birds. Sharp focus and deep DOF make for a wonderful visual experience. Darryl

Great sports stop action photo. Nice and shart with great color. The spray off the wave adds to the feeling of motion. Great job Ann. Darryl

Sheldon, this is one of the most amazing photos that I've ever seen of pyrotechniques. The slower shuter speed did a great job of color and saturation. Wonderful work. Darryl

Sorry Siamak, but the photo is all out of focus and the color is pretty much washed out. I have no idea what the photo is about. Darryl

Great capture of color and details. It's too bad that its already short life had to be shortened even more just for the sake of the photo. Darryl

Love this house. These days, young people have no idea what a front porch is for. I'm glad we have air conditioning in our homes but I do miss the evenings on the porch watching the sun set and the neighbors strolling by. Great capture of this reminder. Darryl

Salvador, This is a very attractive floral presentation. The colors are conservative but compliment each other. The capture of the long grass border really does a great job of defining the space. Well done!

Sorry Ernie, but this is one of the biggest colection of dead plants that I've seen in a while. The wicker chair is ornate but unless the seat is out of it, seems to be a waste of a fine piece of furnature. I'd like to see a photo presentation of just the chair. Darryl
