I dived into your portfolio after "Sunday" was picked for SC and made it back to the top page again. I finally arrived here. You have a real gift for capturing people's expressions and showing them in their natural setting. My only suggestion here would be that you use portrait mode. That way you could get the feet in, too while still getting in enough of the background to establish that it was taken in the workplace. But I envy you your gift for putting people at their ease and encouraging them to look natural. Is it your hairstyle that does it (the one in the photo of you)? I imagine it might be an ice breaker.

I got a very clear impression of the subject from your photo, and I think you did well to put her in close justaposition to her possessions. They obviously mean a lot to her--chosen and displayed carefully. I wonder if the dog is getting his mood from her? He seems rather suspicious of you. She has lots of self-confidence, doesn't she! You can tell that from the stance. I think it's a fine portrait. I'm glad the Staff Choice award brought it to my attention. (Congratulations!)

Your exposure is nicely balanced. This image definitely gives me a peak into that persons' home/lifestyle. Yet, I feel that this image is incomplete. As if something is missing, but I can't put my finger to it. Perhaps introducing another person in the frame... But then, you take away the feeling of solitude I?m getting... It?s a tough one? (You?re definitely on the right track though?)

Hi Terrence, I like the low key feeling of this. Hey I think I hear a fog-horn in the distance. Is that Andy Sipowicz in the background? No, too tall,I think it's Lenny Brisco! You may not believe this but I own this particular piece of real estate. If you want to buy it just make me an offer. Seriously, I like this shot.

Now this one is spot on. The stillness of the man with the world whizzing past him. Most people would put this in BW...but I feel the best choice is the colour. Excellent work.

As I watched this one download I was very impressed. But then the rest of it finished downloading and I was disappointed with the mass of foreground. I feel that needs to be cropped to really allow the emphasis to be on the couple in the surrounding light with the piles of roadworks in front of them.

I really do like this shot. Even though the head has been cropped, I feel it adds to the image. The skin tones are spot on. The horizontal spread of the image adds dimension. Well done.
