Excellent work with the shadows and composition but for some reason I still prefer your other beach photo. Del.

This is neat. Your sister in law has real talent. You did an excellent job capturing the colors. Del.

A very touching artistic composition and well captured.
In the Holocaust museum in Washington DC is a huge display of shoes recovered at the concentration camps. The emotion felt while viewing them is difficult to describe. Del

I like the mysterious feeling created here. I would ask you for details but I am not ready to die, smile. I do like it though. Del.

Very sharp shot. I have those also and enjoyed them until they got under my driveway and I was afraid they would cause it damage. They are not easy to discourage to leave a good home.

Beautiful colors. I thought it was an abstract painting from the thumbnail. Not only is it beautiful but it looks delicious. Del.

I agree, that is unusual both in shape and combination of colors. It must have been a nice show and you got some excellent shots. Del.

Very nice feeling of depth. You get the feeling every thing is vanishing into nothing in the distance. Curious how you achieved that effect. The result is very attractive. Del.

A very interesting series, Of the three I prefer this one mostly because of the sky but also because of the angle from which you filmed. Del.

Mirek,,Thank you for the comment. The WWII memorial is divided into two parts one honoring those who served in the Pacific and one for those who served in the Atlantic. Each section has a tower with a Baldachin (or if you prefer Baldaquin). Attached below are two versions as shown in the Park Service literature. The one I chose to film was for the Atlantic side. I liked the way the sky could be seen through the ring of laural the 4 eagles were holding. I agree that "Journalistic" does not exactly fit but since the monument tells a story of the war I could not think of any better catagory unless I used "other". I hope that answers your question and thanks again for taking time to comment. Del.

Jim, I grew up on a farm but I have yet to see "home made beef". We did on occassion have home cooked beef. The beef was all raised from calves.

B&W for flowers is usually not my favorite but it works so well here since the flowers are white. It give them the apparence of almost "silky" in nature. Very pretty. Del.

Nice detail and I love the vivid yellow color. They are starting to open here now in protected areas and will soon be out if full bloom. Washington DC has many beautiful beds of Daffodils as well as tulips. I am ready for some spring flowers. Del.
