Thank you so much my dear Salvador for your honest opinion,I am sorry for posting this image at this particular time ,I am not aware of the occasion ,and there is a cause for this neglegance ,you know that I live in MOSUL ,which now under ISIS authorities, whom they have expelled our Christian brothers from the city.Previously we were aware of the Christian occasions because we see ,hear ,and share our néighbours and friends such occasion .Now the city is devoid from our friends, good neighbours ,and our kids playmates ,so the daily life rainbow is one colored ,THERE NO SIGNS BUT THEIR ABSENCE.
Please do forgive my ignorance.

Yours.

Saad.

Dear Linda, thank you so much, appreciated.
Here is my reply to Paul...
Thank you so much dear Paul, so much appreciated for your frank and honest opinion.
I have never ever put in my mind to show this fine couple as unrespecful, this was said, I have to tell you my true intention behind the image. In my severly injured country Iraq, we have lost the tolerance of each other, religiously, ethnically, and even culturally, the people can not bear each other on the simplest different, I have tried and still trying to say through my images that harmony and tolerance is the only way of finding common ground for living together, and as a street photographer I stress this fact throughh my images, the street is our common road and rout to our daily life, it does not belong to a certain group, it is a rainbow that you can not separate a single color from the whole spectrum.
I am so sorry if I caused you or any one to think otherwise, please accept my best wishes and regards.
Yours.

Such a great capture with a very high potential for grey tones, with your permission I allowed myself to play a little with cleaning and converting the image to the grey tones,I hope you like my version.

An excellent portrait of an Iraqi mother ,and surprisingly enough she is looking happy with her child and not showing a sad emotions.
In the current days ,all of our mothers are sad grieving either a son or a husband in the current silly and stupid civil war .
A really well done impressive and expressive photo.
