Gee Frank, though I don't like what you did with the selective colouring, I do love the compo (fabulous DOF). Great crop with excellent detail.

Dying flowers have something.. Like elderly people. Some keep their beauty even through the wrinkles, while others, oh well.. A nice composition, the fading colors.. Great shot!

Very beautiful, love the curls of the petals. It seems like I can just reach out and feel the softness of this beauty. Nice details~

Another fabulous capture Frank, poor fellow looks like he has been dragged through a hedge backwards lol
You have done well to capture him, I always struggle with the peacock butterfly they appear more skittish than the other ones. My favourites are the owl as I can usually get within a few cm of them.
I wonder where abouts in the UK you are Frank (I'm just outside Harrogate NY).

What a fantastic portfolio you have Frank - looks like I'm going to spend weeks in here ;-)
This is just superb. The composition is excellent and the diagonal capture is fabulous. I love the level of detail and sharpness of this and the dof is super.

Excellent photo Frank and many thanks also for your lovely comments.

Best wishes,
Steve

i like the subtle, underline subtle imagery. this soft white flower with it's sensual smooth curves . . . . . not garish, not bold, but subtle . . . . . . contrast isn't required. not a picture of a flower, but a capture of soft folds . . . . nice

Morning Frank
Very strong, very bold, very in-your-face image.
I like the shadow on one side, and the strong light on the other - resulting in a variety of colours and shades. The shapes of the petals are beautiful, almost as if they want to hug each other.
Great focus, I love the crop.
Excellent work Frank.
