hi
very nice soft lighting bring out the detail in the flowers, but perhaps a little tighter crop on the flower with rings
or maybe turning it into an infrared like you did with bride at kaitoke

hi there
a little bit morbid, have you tried using a model for scale in the photo more 3D as you have done in other pics in your portfolio

thank you for your comment
looking at your portfolio you like strong colourful shapes.
big and small, rough and smooth, up and down
so while thinking on my feet chasing photos at a wedding i hope i captured that

hi
very nice side lighting, what was your iso rating
it looks very dark in the backround and you using a long slowish zoom
exposure is spot on as neither highlight is blown out
you can put a cheap 50mm on that camera turning it in to a fast 75mm, wide open would get rid of that guests head
go to the custom functions and turn on the allow aperture control
cheers peter

hi tabs
you were braving walking around in oz where men are men and sheep are nervous
the grain and the french tilt make a ordinary photo look that much better
with just the small area you photographed you can tell its a bridge and a brief glimpse of the surroundings

hi thanks for your comment tabs
a few faults ie chopped off at the ankles and distracting background
taken with no flash and fast lenses, spent 5 hours on my knees just being able to photograph over the lip of the stage
must be getting older, but all 8 papers took pics so it was worth it in the long run
cheers peter
