Good photo.

The feeling of trust and friendship has been recorded. Exposure, comosition/framing are excellent.

The sepia tone of the final product amplifies the portrait of the subjects.

Well done!!

Kristina:

Thse two appear to be the best of friends. In the ten minutes that I observed them and the birds and turtles, it appears to be a ritual. At one time there were 3 turtles in view.

I was fortunate to have 6 photos to choose from for this posting.

In addition, the shot was taken just befor the HNL Zoo opened to the public, so, it was very quite...

Aloha.... Luther

Kristina

Thanks for viewing and commenting on my photos. :

With regard to the unusual colors, I feel that it's do to the time of day, (0840), the bright sun at my back right side and the reflection off a green/brown artificial pond (moat) on the bird and the concrete tree limb in the water. The water in the background was in the shadow of a tree on the island. In addition PS post processing for levels/contrast and USM were utilized for the final product.

The bird was watching the the "Odd Couple" discussing morning events, a few feet away,

Great shot. It should be on a magazine cover. I have never seen a family like this.

You have a "family photo" with excellent technical detail.. composition, exposure, framing. In addition, the reflections further define the peaceful environment

This is a prize winner ..

Aloha ....

Great shot!

I too see the faces of 2. The predominant face in the center and a partial on the left side looking forward, eyes, nose, mouth and chin, however, the partial is not Indian in apearance.

It make's me wonder what was to the left of the partial face and what would it look like with different shadows (time of day)

This is a great photo to stir up one's imagination.

You have a great photographer's "eye" to spot the opportunity and your photo is technically excellent.

Aloha ....
