You're doing some fine work here, especially for a 19 year old. When I was 19 (back in 1989), I hadn't even touched a computer yet, so you are way ahead of me at that age.

I think this is a lovely shot, but for me, the duotone is too strong and the tone is odd. You might want to try this with a really light, low saturation color or even as a monotone.

This is a deliciously detailed macro. The crop at the bottom seems a little tight, but that might be where the photo cuts off.
