Fantástico montaje Derek.
He estado mirando tus fotos, y tienes un portfolio buenísimo.
kike

Unique. Industrial sites are not the usual silhouettes for sunsets. However, you have made these sights into beautiful pictures. Your set certainly shows the change of light as the sun sets. Great.

Congratulations on BIP for your really neat picture. They almost look like underwater shots. They way you have presented them in a collage is very effective. It looks great.

Excellent use of selective colour here Derek, a good decision to present in mono tones with your eye's colour preserved. Well done on this creative self portrait...All the best....Ray

Very special composition.
Background is the most important part of the picture, and key to create that great effect around Eros.
Congrats - JP

The beige against the darker tonality of the background works wonders! It renders the dryness almost tactilely. The details are impressive!

Hola Derek:

Yes, I'm really pleased I went back. I can also see that my shots have improved with the Canon. I feel that I learned more in one day with the digital than years with film (Ok, a bit exagerated, but since the digital you can shot at no cost is been great to experiment without losing time and money...).

thanks ray, much appreciatted.
You have to love flowers, to grow them and shot them. I especialy love macro, nothing to be able to see the beauty within.
until the first daph come out though, i'm going to have to think of other things to look at ;p

Keep catching sight of your name Derek, so I've come for a quick peep. This is an incredible floral macro of a stamen. Wonderful details and an unusual colour....We share some similar floral interests and I am going to have to keep an eye on your work...Super portfolio..Cheers for now, 'see' you soon.....Ray

Excellent Derek!
It's not just the blooms that make great macros!
I like the complimentary colour of the background. Very easy on the eyes.
