Wow, this is really cool! It reminds me of the Swedish film The Seventh Seal, in which death was spotted playing chess on the beach with a man. Guess he got stuck on the pier eh? ;-)

Yet another interesting capture. It's very British and I like it, simple and straightforward. I like the lighting here and it's quite similar in your other portraits. The subject is very well lit, is it purely sunlight?
