Reynaldo, the background is a palm frawn. Thanks everyone for the comments. I always look to better the photos with the comments I receive.

Wietse, nice shot. I especially like the tower in the background. Too bad the sky couldn't have been more open and blue. Good job!

Nice shot! The only thing that distracts is the brown on the left, but I don't know if it would look right without it. Clear colorful image!

Dennis, this must have been taken at the 28 end of the lens as you can see the filter on the top corners. I do like the aperture star on the sun.

April, this is a nice candid shot. Would be a good one to go under photo project friendship. Just a little soft must be from the scan. Cute kids!

Debbie, I like the composition and the colors, it's just way soft. Try to rescan and reload. Looks like a real good one!

Pete, you have a good one here. It must be tough to get him to pose just perfect. Good job!

Jeroen, Thanks for the info on the planes. You are obviously a lot more knowledgeable than I am. I wouldn't have tried to identify them on my own. Thanks.

Arthur, I like the image as it is, just maybe a little too busy. My eyes wonder all over the image. You could actually have three images with these props. The corn and leaves, gords and leaves and pumpkins and leaves. Welcome back to photography. Now start posting.

Francis, I agree, the DOF is right on. I especially like the tight crop and the vertical light lines in the background leading right to the point of focus. Very nice!

John, these flowers just seem to pop off the screen. Wouldn't change a thing.

Debbie, I was in LA last fall, got a couple of photos of the place, but nothing on this scale. This is real good. I think I'm in the group that says been there done that. Good job!

I like the diagonal look of this. Good color combination and the softness works well. Good job!

I agree with all of the above comments. This is very nice. Just wondering what it would like with a drop of dew hanging on the tip. Good job, Mary Sue!

Beverly, nice to see you posting again. I've missed your images. I've never been to Bok Tower Gardens, but it is probably going to be one of my winter trips. Nice composition.

Francis, nice macro shot. Having chased all the bugs around in my yard I know how hard it can be. You have the focus right where you need it. Good job!

James, the only thing this image needs is one of my frogs, ha ha. No really this is a nice shot, the only thing I would do would be to crop the right side to get rid of the dark edge. Good job!

Becky, nice framing, gorgeous flowers. The only thing I would try to change would be the hot spots throughout the image. Just a little distracting.

Debbie, beautiful photo. Nice composition and great colors. I like the diagonal look of the picture. Just appears a little soft. Probably just the scan. I'm sure the slide is sharp as a tack.

Loyce, I really like the composition of this shot. Did you use a polarizer? How about a night shot?

Russell, I noticed this flower after I watered the lawn, late in the evening. The sun was shining directly into the flower, everything around it was in the shade. I thought it looked unusual. Thanks for your comment. You have some very nice flower photos also.

Amie, I like the composition a lot. That is quite a bud that he has landed on, what is it? Dragon Fly's are one of my favorite insects. I didn't realize how detailed and beautiful they are, until I got a few closeups of them myself. I only wish it was a little bit clearer. Must be the compression. Waiting for the black and white's.

Deborah, nice photo as is but I wonder if you took two or three steps to your right, just to eliminate the two windows and the peak of the house in the background but maybe that wasn't possible. good shot.
