hi there

nice use of dept of field with the cat and the bush branches, you can get away with the blue hose as that what most likely the cat was playing with

the cats expression is very human like, "who me?"

it was taken at a monsta truck event where trained stunt people blew up, got set on fire and run over by very large trucks with ballon tires

hello there, these photos are quite hard to take,

usually just a black blob, you have allowed the light to show the shape and texture very well

hi there

nice framing with water and bush leading up to the building and out thru the sky

almost 3D, nice work

i had a small tweak on it in photoshop, lightening the front and darkening the sky.

see what you think

hi

nice use of lighting and shadow to show a common place object in the world

look at it in flat sunny weather and it would be borrrring

but here you have given mystery and purpose

hi

nice pose and setting

its very hard to make older people relax and smile as they are very self aware

the sepia brings up the age and time period nicely

hi there
hi

thanks for the work on the photo

i work for some local papers here as a sports photographer

so everything is shot at medium jpegs, a quick crop, hue adjustment and slight sharpening and off to the papers

where i am lucky to get it printed more 5 by 7 in size all at 160dpi on the cheapest newsprint they can find

so its nice to see some one taking the time to clean and improve it

hi there

nicely seen colour and shape

with digital is very easy to blow out the highlites, but you have not done this in this photo

if you treat digital like slide film, as it cannot handle large contrast differences like film can

cheers peter
