nice intospective shot, Jos
but imho, i would prefer something more in focus...
ok, slow time surely add more drama to the shot, but for me, the added drama by the grain was sufficient....
pose and lighting, it's ok, but there's something too much...
just IMHO, ok?
ciao!

beautiful....
i mean, despite the truly sad subject, this shot really give the sense...
the detail of the infamous sign "arbeit macht frei" and the striped bar, immediately make me recognize it belong to auschwitz
great eye, Olga
a sad classic in a rare representation with the sun....
congrats

i love the way the backlight help to isolate the subject from the surrounding elements
the golden tones of the light, the deep green of the foliage and the light haze of the morning, give a strong sense of rainforest....
hard to explain in my poor english, but it's a matter of sensations
good good job, Andi

wow,John!
very nice portrait here!
something different, out of the schemes
between the eyes and the nose, i see something like an angel walking left to the right with spreaded wings
good job!

Ciao Nicola!
forte questo scatto!
fotografo->soggetto moolto espressivo
e taglio veramente azzeccato; molto dinamico.
un po' scurina, forse ma in uno scatto cosė, passa decisamente in secondo piano!
ciao

nice dragonfly portrait!
maybe a little more DOF would add "the touch"
i like the composition, something of different
you don't only shoot macro, but
you think macro, and this reflect on your shot....

a velvet flower, my dear friend!
ok, i know u're so critic on your images (as i am for mines.. eheh)
but in this case, personally, the velvet texture of the petals, and the deep purple color of the flower, looks so pretty that the focus pass in a second stage....
u know how much i like that dark tones.....
congrats, Chris!

Hi, Alan!
i agree with Paul's comment
i'm pretty sure, you've the original shot; without that oversharpened contour, this it's surely a killer shot!
what a great sky!!

ciao and congrats

i don't see nothing of artistic.... nothing of interesting....
dead bodies, deserves respect....

Ciao reza!
nice composition
the subject, imho look too much dynamic despite the title...
i mean... for my concept of "death" it look very alive and there's a obtrusive magenta hue that corrupt the whole idea....
just imho.. ok?
ciao

i totally agree with Louison's comment
so detailed, that look like a fake flower, but technically almost perfect....
imho, maybe you've to pay more attention to the lighting... it look a little flat; maybe with another little more bright background...
ciao

nice barracuda picture...
but don't u think, the frame it's a little too thick?
a fantastic car like the cuda, have so many details to shot that, imho, it's a little reductive to show with a such little picture...

out of focus (maybe it's desired effect)
and very small size...
take a walk on the FAQ section, where it's very well explained everything have to do with uploading size

Ciao Roby!
uhmmmmm dubbio!

Hi, Louise!
for me, this shot have nothing to do with my concept of "critiquer's corner"
it's a subtle, good toned, well exposed shot of a beautiful prom's girl...nothing wrong, nothing to criticize on...
just compliments....
she would to be proud of a shot like this....
ciao

but IMHO, a little exaggerated use of filters
maybe i'm wrong... but the subject look a little unreal....
