Hi Carl, it's a standard resting position most usually adopted by blokes :-)

Hi Martin, "Missed the point" I think I did. It was just the sky was so white in places that I was convinced it was burnt out. I must admit I find mist very difficult to photograph well I think you always need something looming in the background to show it is actually misty.

Regards

Mark

Hi Martin, I had a go a tweaking this picture to add some sky and demonstrate what I mean.

You have talent Martin but I think it's time you moved on to an DSLR to give you the greater control over exposures and depth of field etc. Have you considered a DSLR?

Hi Martin, A shot with great potential, I like the composition but the the exposure leaves a lot to be desired, the sky is totally burnt out. If you get the chance to re-shoot and take two exposures one for the sky and the other for the foreground and then combine them in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. It would make a great B&W especially if you could take it with a moody brooding sky.

Great capture, I have enough trouble getting birds in flight let alone capturing one hunting.

Hi Robbie, thanks for your comments. I am not sure what you mean by

"like is possible to see this ligth on the frame, all your frame..."

Are you saying you would prefer all the pictures with only a light frame?

Mark

Another fine shot. Come on confess has this had the HDR treatment? I am a new HDR fan and would be interest to know how you did this.

Great point of view and nice treatment. There is nothing like a wide angle lens, B&W and a brooding sky to produce a moody shot. Did you use HDR?

Keep shooting.

Hi Noemi, the crop is oil seed rape, it really is this yellow. In the summer it is an eye catching feature over much of the southern UK. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Nice shot, apart from being technically good, it's good because it is a different view on a heavily photographed subject.

AJ Thanks for your comment, I did desaturate the water but that is pretty much the way it looks anyway. The water is shallow and lays on sedimentary mud which gets stirred up and gives it the muddy grey colour. A may post another soon but I will leave the water alone.
