Thought this was an old orchard. Looks like it could use some care. Looks like you have some snow in your country. The sun is so far south that you don't get much power out of it this time of year. It did get up to 60 degrees here today. Don.

Hi Christian! The centering works very well in this case, giving max attention to the beautiful and well shaped dancer. We are blessed with great colours in early winter, as well ...

Very fine photograph, Christian. The trees sit like skeleton crows in the garden. Beautiful brown tones, contrasting very well with the snow.

Regards, Markus

Sure a beautiful curving tree for a frame.. You should have the proverbial nude cavorting around in the dark area... Like the softening effect. Don.

Fantastic capture, Christian, and the post processing gives it a magical touch (which it probably already had before).

Kind regards, Markus

It's a beautiful image mon ami. It looks like a fairly difficult range of light to deal with & you did a good job with it. If I were walking past this, I'd HAVE to walk down that path.

Hi Christian! A beautiful and touching interpretation of your inner sanctum! I like how the tree bends over the dark unknown, providing shelter. Well chosen colourful/bright spots ... I think you tell us very much here picturally

Well, it's a fine photograph. I like the slight eeriness of beauty surrounding the dark unknown. Well done.

This may sound strange but I'm on the verge of being depressed by this photo - or to be more precise, by its implications. Your photos are often very representative of the season they are taken in, and when looking at them I can sense the dark afternoons and cold mornings of late autumn and winter that are awaiting us for the next several months. Here the sun is shining, but it's only for a short while...

Well, full score for the photo's ability to inspire emotions in me :-)

The pale green of the leaves look more like spring then cool rainy year end. Beautiful scene Christian. Hope you find some marco shots within this pretty setting as well.

L'hiver est proche.
Il faut alors profiter des couleurs d'automne aussi longtemps que possible!
Ton image est une invitation!

Nice shot... i kinda miss forests like that!! And yes, I do cross the southern part of Canada. I live in southern BC now, but work north in summers still... (formerly from near Toronto) Cheers, Gary

Really breathtaking, Christian. It is a cathedral of light and colors, and a very well distributed carpet of feuilles mortes at the ground. And even a bit of blue sky! Wonderful!

Regards, Markus

PS: Having a wonderful autumn here with temperatures of 20 degrees, for three weeks already, and no end in sight.

Sally, a further experiment under a sunny sky taught me that the effect holds more to the weather conditions here than the mere use of a red fabric to WB on. Cloudy sky and wet pavement seem to be responsable.

Oh ... unusual vision, indeed, and SO beautiful! The road looks almost like a golden river. IR magic at its best, resulting in exquisite tones.
