Woops. Typo corrected, thanks Gary.
I know what you mean about having a person to give some sense of scale but for some reason nobody else wanted to come with me that morning. I guess I can understand why, it was around -10°C and very windy with a 4am start.

Absolutely stunning Luccio, nice composition and well executed. My only criticism is that some of the snow on the mountain is a little blown out but I really don't think this detracts from the image.
Great shot.

You're right it would have been, just checked and that one was with the 70-200mm

A heart warming scene and very well captured. I can imagine the dog in the foreground is getting rather bored of being photographed.

Really interesting shot, almost abstract in quality. Love the composition, thanks for showing us.

What georgeous eyes. Love the colours and lighting in this shot but I would have preferred a slightly wider depth of field to have both eyes in perfect focus. A lovely image all the same.

A stunning portrait, the subject appears to be back lit so did you use a gold reflector to get that wonderful light on her face?

Beautiful colours, excellent control of focus and depth of field.

Another beautiful portrait of this model Alex. I can't see how you could improve on this. Wonderful.

Thank goodness this was photoshopped.

At least I really hope it was. ;-)

Wow, from the thumbnail I thought this was just another waterfall shot but the bigger image is quite stunning. The rocks? look almost like a polished metal. Very attractive. Thanks.

Very nice lighting and composition. I wouldn't want to be on a tram/train around there though. ;-)

That does look like an extremely tough route despite being bolted. Like your composition here it really adds to the dramatic feel of the picture. The fact that the background has a nice bokeh makes this look very high up ( guess it proably is anyway).
I've yet to take any good shots while climbing. Probably because I'm shaking too much and don't want to let go for long enough to hold a camera.

Congratulations on this one.

Not really much more that I can add. Beautiful shot, really like the presentation too, good framing.

Beautiful colours and nicely exposed Ian. If I may make one suggestion, I think the composition could be improved by cropping out the lower red flower. As an example, I think the composition in your poppies shot is stronger.

Hi Dal. You have some great shots in your portfolio, I particularly like the portraits and surfings shots.
I'm sorry to say I don't think this one is quite up to the standard of the others. It seems a little dull and I wonder if the WB is slightly out.
I can see the humour in it though which I guess is why you posted it. Am I right in saying the male is on the left? ;-)
I think it would really have improved if both birds were in focus.

Hi Alex, I though I recognised the model from your last shot. This is absolutley captivating. She does have incredible eyes which helps but I think you've really made this into something special. Top marks for the dramatic portrait.

You have some great portraits in your portfolio Alex. This is a very attractive model in a nice relaxed looking pose but I feel the highlights on the side of her face are just too hot.

Having said that I think her expression and the colour in the shot out weigh the the negatives in the image.

Wonderful dramatic composition against an ominous sky. If I may make one critism, the grass looks just a little to vivid, perhaps it could be improved by selectively reducing the saturation a little. Just my opinion.
Thanks.

So simple yet stunningly effective. Beautiful colours and exposure. The sand bars in the foreground really finish off the composition perfectly.

Great action shot Antonio, I think this shot shows that this is actually more of a sport than a simple spectator event.
If you don't mind me saying so, I had some success getting shots by laying in the sand looking up at the players. It helps to minimise any distracting backgrounds.

I like this one Antonio, nice timing. Do you have any good shots that also show the net and other competitors?

Hi Antonio, another very nice pose but I have to agree with Jason on this one. With such attractive girls and no ball in frame, beach volleyball shots can appear to be voyeurism instead of sport.

Not that that would stop me from enjoying them ;-)

Great shot Antonio. I know just how difficult it is to get the timing spot on and this is perfect. It wasn't until I'd started playing instead of just photographing that I realised just how fit and skilled these athletes are.

Hi Armagan,

I love the look of the rocks and sea, not so sure about the photo-shopped sky. It's just too dark at the horizon compared to the sea. I would be very interested to see what the orginial shot was like if you have it.

Hi Darlene, you have an absolutely stunning gallery of bird images. There's just something about this shot that I particularly like, maybe its the simplicity of the composition that captures the spirit of these birds.
Fab.
