Very nice image. And I can imagine you'd have to use 300 mm with 3 extension tubes, I've tried shooting frogs with a 18-55mm before. It didn't work.

I appreciate the comment. Empty is sort of what I'm going for with these. Most of the time I'm trying to create a story so I'm setting aside a bit of effort to deliberately not create a story. To create empty space (sort of).

It's fascinating what others see in your own work. You show them an image you've done and the point out something you never thought of. Life after death? I wasn't thinking that. I was thinking about the single wild flower, the one thing in the entire cemetery that was different.

Shoot flowers in color is too easy. Shooting flowers in B&W is almost too difficult. Nice job with the contrasts.

I was laying in the dirt for this one. And the other thing I forgot to mention is that this is the only flower in the entire cemetery that was naturally growing.

Excellent image. Seeing this makes me ask one question... would it be possible to pull off a double exposure and avoid a shadow on the wall? The shadow could be removed but I think it would be worth trying to get an original image without it.

I've looked at both the color and the B&W and I think I like the color version better. Either image is stunning and beautiful.
