Hi, thanks for the comments. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this photo. I've looked at your nephews shot - it is good and I like the concept too.I can't help but wonder, didn't that hurt with the flames that close to your fingers?!!

Very cool concept and you have carried it out very well. I was directed here by your nephew Davide in a comment he left on one of my photos, you can compare with yours at

Excellent composition and control of exposure. I do appreciate the tonal range and the richness of the limited colour range.

Lovely work, you have shown mastery in exposure, compostion and in combining your images. This shot breathes the essence of tranquility to me.

Simply stunning. The simple composition and the restricted colour space both help emphasise the solitude and form of the image. Great work.

A lovely, rich image. It's reminiscent of a mother cell which has budded off little daughter cells, and the green colouration certainly adds the idea of life to the scenario. Well done.

Oops, made some mistakes with that last reply (I must have been suffering from a migraine or something!

If I'm short of space I take the kit lens - 18-55mm, otheriwse I take the 17-85mm IS lens. Sorry for any confusion I caused.

Nice work. The angled composition and the blurred background, together with his expression make this a winner.

This is so cool - just yummy! The contrasts of the dark brown and the white with the curves and straight lines makes this very interesting. Well composed.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. The 18-55 doesn't have IS, if I am short of space when I am out cycling then I have to leave the 18-55 at home and make do with the kit lens as in this case. My cycling and photography don't go too well together, this opportunity occured just due to being in the right place at the right time depite having the 'wrong' lens!
