hi gary, the modern sculpture is a new piece added to the museum recently as it has just had a lot of money spent on it doing it up for the public to visit, my father tells me that the new piece is meant to represent one of the cutting blades which used to cut off the coal down the mines? im sure many of the local usefilm users will correct me on this . take care, sharon

another great photo, snow scenes will always be my favourites as seeing the snow brings back so mnay fond memories for me from when i was younger (apart from when our mark used to scrub me in the face with snowballs)!! would love to pay a visit to lapland someday! take care :)
