I have taken pictures at this exact spot, with nearly the same frame, with the tide maybe a little higher up and the sun a little further down... crazy.

Good call Hilton. I actually cropped out some of the sky because above what you can see now was just white washout. However, I agree that some of the beach could go.
Thanks for the comments

It is amazing what magical water falls one can find on a small scale! Well done, Jason! I like the fern included. There is a mixture of realism contrasted with the fantasy of the silky water.

So i guess i should say something.
I think this one blows my ol' original cliff falls away... My second version in sepia however, is a different enough shot to remain free of your upstaging antics
I think the foreground ferns do wonders for the shot, giving it fantastic depth that was lacking in my original. Also, the wider angle was a give move, allowing you to included the second falls. Finally, the tones and range of colours here are fanastic.
Enough said, I ought not tell you about anymore of my spots.
good job jay,
matt

Thanks for the comment, everything was wet in this location: the polarizer took the glare off everything (fern) and added a slight blue tint to the overall picture.

Perfect timing. I very much want to take my German Shepherd to the snow this year. She'd love it. I'm not sure my terriers would though. I really like this. I'm particularly impressed that you captured this perfectly timed moment with film no less. The exposure in the foreground is a little hot, but I think it is perfect on your main subject. Perhaps with some careful masking you might tone down the highlights in the foreground with Photoshop. Other than that I think this image is a really fun and effective photo.

Excellent moment captured, to show unusual movement to catch the snow ball, must be a joyful play although I feel cold only watching.
Superb
