Well I hope you use this feature often Marcus. It'll be great to see your bird shots in more detail. Beautiful bird, the eye is pin sharp.

A patriot painter? Things have improved a little but still some problems. This page for example it loads your picture misaligned first and then centers it. In case you haven't heard Markus the new size is 750 by 750. I will miss the old dimensions.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy new year, Chris! It's a beautiful card, the lighting looks great and I love the curved red lettering under the arrrangement. I'm relieved you are not leaving the site.

I've been looking high and low for the new panorama feature and finally found it! Roger, this is a real treat. I think I had commented on this image earlier but it's so much better to be able to see the finer detail. Looking forward to the rest of your panoramas.

Very beautiful, one of a kind shot Bjorn. Really like the bubbles and the clarity. Well done.

Hi Ellen, I think I know what you are talking about. It's the 1 inch dark pink line in the lower third. That's actually how it came out of the camera - part of the bouquet in the background. Thanks for looking this over carefully, I appreciate it.

I agree with Elisa. Undisturbed fresh snow is wonderful. Lovely blue sky against the white, I do like the shadows that the trees cast.

Perfect composition, Patrizio. I particularly like the tall grass moving with the wind. Sky looks great in B/W.

Very nice shot. I love the panoramic format, the colors and the clarity. The geometric shapes on the floor and the woman are great for the composition. The vertical letters on the upper corner add something to the image as well.

Ellen, Is there an artifact that you see? I have a laptop screen so sometimes I miss stuff. The DOF came straight from the camera (see my answer to Markus). Thanks for commenting.

Markus, I used aperture to isolate the flower. I set it to 1.8 which gave me the background bokeh. I was about 1.5 ft (0.5 m) away from the vase. Thank you for your comment.

Andrzej, Thank you. I was going to name it pastel but wasn't sure. I'll change my title.

...Markus, What do you think of reposting the other one (misty rise) with an inch or two (3-4cm's) cropped from the top? I think that would make a great entry for the new project as well.

Rosario, There's an easy way to fix horizon tilt in Photoshop. Draw a line with the Measure tool (hidden behind the eyedropper tool) under the sea wall (the blue line). Then go to "Image, Rotate Canvas". Select "Arbitrary". Photoshop will put the proper angle of rotation you'll need to straighten the image. Just hit Ok and it will automatically align your horizon based on your measurement.

Storybook architecture. Nifty title.
Chris, your portfolio is the one place I've always visited since I joined. I can't imagine this site without it. Let us know how you decide.

It was worth uploading though cause they are so very beautiful. I've never seen anything like this before. D200 is supposed to be out in mid-December. If it were a 12 mp machine, I think I would be tempted to switch over to Nikon.

Top notch clarity, Rosario. Very good street shot. If that's a sea wall that I see in the distance, your horizon might be slightly off. Do you have photoshop?
