The quality on this photo is different, but I like it, nonetheless. The reason why I like it so much is because of the atmosphere that the clouds, the lonely boat, and the b&w tones create. It is very effective in this manner. Great job.

watch out danilo, I make the same mistake, I think when we cannot see sb's face the picture misses a point.A closer focus would be ideal, but of course this is poor Melissa's opinion...Nevertheless, the mood is fantastic and the blue colour...prevails once again.

Bello scatto! Mi piace motlo il fuoco perfetto sui soggetti ed il resto mosso e sfocato.
Ottima la scelta del BN
La posa dell'uomo è spontanea o l'hai scelta tu?

Too much conflicting detail. Lighting is all over the place and it lacks a definite viewpoint. Ian Pearson

Danilo,

I think for a dollar you got the better end of the deal. Awesome street photo of street people. One of my customers has a location in the Dallas day care shelter, but I?m apprehensive shooting there. Shucks I?m afraid to even go down there, but after seeing your work I must go there and shoot tomorrow? 7 +++++++++

Danilo,

Nice Artwork my friend. You truly must check out the Dean Collins scholarship at your age. It?s like pulling teeth to convince my son to do so?(lol) 6.5 rating?

Danilo,

Awesome capture my friend. I love the Converse All Star high tops, as well. Good work with the x-700, as I have 2 Pentax K-1000?s, which is around the same era. Not to mention my 2 Nikon FE2?s, but I just purchased my 1st digital yesterday. I don?t think my son, which is your age will speak to me for a week over this one, as I got the Canon Eos 20D and we both love film, but what the heck. I had to do it sooner, or later?(lol)

As far as a scholarship check into the Dean Collins free scholarship. Dean passed on this February due to a 2 year battle with cancer, which is a loss to all of us. Dean Collins was the god of lighting. He lectured at the Brooks Institute of Art in New York and taught many pro?s his theories regarding lighting. I'm sure you have heard the saying ?those that can, do and those that can?t teach? Dean Collins could do both very proficiently. Heck I never met the guy, but I did cry after hearing of his passing, as I studied his teaching video tapes.

Oh, by the way 7 ++++ on the shot!

My Best,

Jr. Martin
