Roger for your coments, Roger. These kids were quite willing to have their picture taken in the tree. Cooperative models make things much easier!

It was cityscapes of yours like this that rang a bell with me when I visited your portfolio the other day. I like taking "slice of life" scenes of Japan, which is where I live. But I see you have a very wide range of photographic interests, up to and including abstracts...

This is very well done, and not something I would have attempted. I find trying to photograph more than one kid is like trying to herd cats! You've combined four of these difficult "models" into a very nice arrangement. Impressive!

Beautiful colours here... the greens work as an excellent backdrop for the butterfly, and the wings match the flowers so closely.
DOF is also great, since you got the entire butterfly sharp while blurry the bg. Something that I have yet to master... butterfly shots!!!

Interesting shot, Lea. I, too, thought of a flag when I first saw it. The flower looks like it is levitating. Very original. Cheers, Ann.

Aha! So maybe that's what brought you to my photo of the three-men-and-a-dog converation? Your comment (thank you) brought me to your portfolio. I think I see a similar choice of subjects and scenes. I'm off to help with our office removal right now, but I'll be back to take a longer look around...

Hola Lea....I have gone through your portfolio and it looks great. I like the way you take your pictures. Although I do not take pictures of flowers , yours look wonderful, very colorful. This one of the boat is really something I really like. More my type of pictures I like.
Thanks for the comment in my Kremlin picture. I just came back from a trip to Russia so I will start adding some of the 800 pictures I took there. Hope you like them.
Best regards..

Very good boogie-woogie image. It's almost like a Mondriaan painting in his New York period.
