Hi Patrick,
Outstanding use of tones and shadows - love the way those shadows converge towards the lightsource. The lone figure walking on the pavement adds the finishing touch. Well composed, but I feel the impact of this photo could've been just a bit more powerful if the exposure would've been more subtle / balanced - the blown out bits in the highlights are just a tad too bright to create the perfect fit with the atmosphere.

Don't say this will be your last cat shot, I look for cat shots! What a pretty face, is she Burmese?
My most adored feline is Burmese and just entering her 19th year!
2 years ago my lilac Burmese gave birth to 7 kittens and 4 days later she died (maybe snake bite). Her best friend Maggie, the German Shepherd made news headlines around the nation when she raised the litter. They are 2 years old now and still have a nightcap suckle! Maybe you guessed I'm a cat and dog fan? There are lots of us out here, so more cat shots please. CC

That's a scary looking sky! Fortunately we don't experience tornadoes where I live, although there have been suggestions that global warming could change that, there were a few little ones observed in the south west of the country this year, the first in recorded history! The power of nature, beautifully captured. CC

Patrick,
You seem to be a natural my friend. Nice choice regarding the Major in School. I have tried to get my Son @ 22 to change his to no avail. He wants to be in marketing.
I'm in sales and I think he wants to be like me, but I hate my job and told him to do what he is passionate about. Then when he's my age he will make the big bucks...
