I see what you mean now.
I try to use a little "discretion" if you will, in posting photos or my workplace. But at the same time, would never post anything that could or would compromise my ship, or the people on it.
Our ship actually sells digital cameras and film in the ship's store for anyone onboard to purchase. But in overview, no one has ever tried to disuade me from taking pictures onboard, and most of them are anxious to see what I have gotten that day.

I just thought the military would not let private individuals (members of the armed forces inc) or even official photographers to post stuff ..thats all I know that when I visited Williamtown RAAF base photography studios near my home in Aus they would not let us take any photos inside the base..I just thought they would have to approve 'em n stuff its a bloody ripper shot n e way Les

I am curious as to what you mean. I have posted nothing that you cant look at on the internet already. Just giving a little different perspective.

Very cognitive picture. It is visible, as the plane is a little "down" after leaving from a deck, and then switches off the maximal operating mode of engines. My father too was the pilot. Excellent shot!

Great shot and great visual documentation about the skills of the crews and not only of the pilot.

Well done

This is the true master of the skies. They've been around for a long time, but that is only because they could kick butt on anything else up there. Retiring these most capable aircraft is another bad decision made by bean counters. I don't see much in terms of an effective replacement coming up to replace them.

Nice angle. And given the light .. it turned out great. As for the crop... I would have put the plane right in the centre(vertically) as there is nothing of interest on the floor nor in the sky.

Thats an F15 right?? Cuz the air grip edge points outwards and the vertical fins are not slanted. (Do you even call them fins?? )

Well Les I reckon this one was lucky to catch the last wire, He looks as if he is still doing a fair rate of knots and is about to go of the end.
