nice shot. I think that crazy frame ... while cool looking, really takes away from the simplicity and peacefulness of this image.

cool shot -- the shallow depth of field really gives life to the image. That and the colors are excellent.

Nice shot

haunting image ... I really like the long late-day shadows. The white bark from the tree in the foreground sets a kind of ghostly mood for the whole shot.

Spooky stuff ... great work!

that goat shack ends up in the darndest places.

the first one was more realistic, but this looks like the cover to some sci-fi book about dragons or something.

very cool

well named ... a simple, peaceful landscape. I like the texture in the grass and the simple outline of the rounded tree almost mirrored in the clouds above.

Very plesant to look at --

Awsome texture in this shot. The trees and the cliffs seem to share the same soft feel to them (although I'm sure the trees are softer)

Nice shot

Dramatic shot. I agree ... the cloudy haze really adds emotion and originality that blue skies and puffy clouds couldn't touch.

I think I like the trees tracing lines in the green lake best of all.

-- well done!

Wow -- pasted grass in foreground seems to even match grass in background.

A little PS creativity made for a really stunning image!

Well done.

Wow ... really nice, balanced exposure even with the slow shutter speed. It reminds me of the rocks off Point Judith in Rhode Island.

Nice shot

I love Yosemite!

Nice shot, but try adjusting the levels. El Capitan seems a little washed out and highlights in other spots seem really really bright. This could also be due to my garbage monitor so feel free to disregard this suggestion completely if you don't agree.

Either way, definitely a moody landscape.
Nice work

Great shot -- there's something about this image that feels really peaceful. the movement of the tree or the softness of the water ... probably the contrast between the two.

either way, nice work!

Great depth of field .., I spend a lot of time shooting down the beach and have begun running low on new angles / ideas. I look forward to toying with this one.

nice shot

wow! blue skies in Zion -- I was socked in with low cloud coverage for all three days when I visited. Beautiful place and nice shot

terrific feeling of depth -- I think the frame is distracting. It's a great image and can definitely stand on its own.

Very peaceful feel to this image. It almost looks like a pattern on fine china ... but from japan.

Great exposure.

dramatic sky -- nice light on the water in the foreground. It adds some nice life to what otherwise may have been a dreary image.

nice image!
