Mary, you can come to my party this Summer, I'm going to have one when my house is all unpacked & cleaned up from my move. I think you would be lots of fun at a party, we just won't invite Jim Loy! hahahahha. Dottie

Mary, I am really sorry you had that experience - it's a traumatic one. I hope life turns happier for you soon.

Even with my perverse sense of humor, that subject is off limits to me. Sorry to hear it.

Well they ask me, but I don't go. I've lost nothing there. A party is anywhere that you're happy Nice bright colors.

I used to go to lots of parties. All that drunken debauchery, naked table-dancing, strings of beautiful, willing women. It got boring. You're not missing anything.

Jon, best line ever on this was from a movie "I got a gun and a shovel and no one will miss you."

I taught Eli this when she was 4 "When are you going to get married?" "When Daddy dies!"

Also, I tell people, "I have a room with trophy heads... lining my den... there is room for one more (and I look the young man directly in the eye)

Yep, in Illinois we say, "When I had a son I worried about one pee-pee. When I had a daughter I worried about all of them."

Dang girls...

What is it with women and phones... and death... criminently! Brighten up already! Life canna be THAT bad! Ya know, I don't think you have posted a single image that is just fun and bright. Well, just saying, it is not all doom and gloom. And no, I am not getting soft or emotional... I still think you are whacked.

Yes Jon, it is teh cruelest fate to be ignored. I've been beaten, cursed, yelled & screamed at, and ignored. Being ignored is the most painful of them all.

It scares me that somewhere there is a phone like that still hanging on someone's wall.

Good image and very good "about". As the father of daughters I understand this sentiment far more than I would like to. If I wasn't busy putting vegetables in it, I could think of a few other things I'd like to "plant" in my back garden. Grrr.
