hi, is this for me? remember i told you in a comment that i liked BLUE?...the punctuation of red at a diagonal gives this a very modern art look...the subject is very urban-street and some may see it as cliche, but i get the "corn-ee" humor ;> ...the selective focus is interesting and on my monitor is quite difficult to discern...not one of your best,Mary, but indeed unique....regards,gayle

ok ok---I'll admit. At least 17 of Mary's post are good enough to have been done by me. That should keep you two from picking on me.

so sorry,Mary-----didn't mean any disrespect-----am brand new here and Jim has been so kind to me-----he seems to be sincere even if he is a bit full of himself at times judging from the short time of our exchanges-----he probably loves your style of photography which has more uniqueness than his and maybe doesn't know how to let you know-----anyway,just a guess and keep up the unique work! bye,meg

I love the Brits. Been twice just to gawk and think. I know Oxford. There's some sort of Henry what-ever# above some entrance way (statue) holding a chair leg for some reason) I do believe.

funny guy,Jim! i live in the PNW and have for several years now------originally from WA but got to choose where i wanted to go to college and chose Penn-------don't mean to toot my own horn, but also won a scholastic honor prize to study in Europe at Oxford------perhaps you have heard of it? More rain than my own state, and too many men into wearing ladies clothing, but to each their own------seems we have much in common bye,meg

Ahem... (clears throat) as long as we are tossing credentials about. I not only majored in history at Illinois State, I received 2 bachelors and a teaching certificate in history, poli/sci, geography, psycology, anthropology, economics and social science. I am a history teacher (So the fine state of Illinois says) Welcome to the other side of usefilm. Ya just never know who exactly is on the back side of the comments. And I was using "Indian" in the colloquial vernacular. Still, I do like ya. Ya have some spunk to be so direct and yet so new to the site.

Penn State eh? What on earth happened to your football team lately? Big 10 too tough???

This is quite good, you know...of course i'm partial to blue,so i would find it appealing, but the geometry is very well composed and i like the contrast level which is similar to a lith process...do you prefer stairs,or elevators? i think stairs have more character, but elevators save time.....;> gayle

That probably explains why bad things happen to good people, don't cha think,Mary?...i mean what other explanation is there?!...i am overdue for good luck...the ears are very long so technically i think this is a "hare"...have you ever seen a jackalope? looks similar to this one but has the antelope rack...did you make this,or is this a sculpture in a park?...i love blue,do you?...later,gayle (you have some interesting and unique shots!)
