Hi! I know, I have made a blue tone in PS, and it is very high contrast. Sadly, it looks nothing like the original colour or contrast after uploading. It always looks strange unless it is seen on the original computer.... so..... i make a print!! ) Cheers, Mark

Hi Larissa, thank you for your commen, but sorry, but I do not understand you. "...may be try to convert to b/w..". This IS b/w. I made this image on Fuji Neopan. This is B/W film. Not colour. Cheers, Mark

No problem Larissa. Didn't want my comment to sound like a criticism.... it wasn't!! Of course it works great in colour, only I 'think' in b/w!

Larissa, this shadow is great. It creates drama and depth! This has such a dark atmosphere.... I hope you intended this.
And yes, for sure..... it looks so old fashioned! I am planning some photos like 1940's.

Very good Stefan. I know you want a good critique of this, and this should be both positive and negative, but I can't think anything negative to say!
I love the depth to this, probably created by the Holga. Superb. I want/need one.
Did you scan the negative or the print? I ask only because I hope that the 'border' and light bleed are real from the camera/enlarger, and not from PS.
Love your work truly!
Mfg, Mark

Thanks Roland, and I hear you, really. But a compressed jpeg cannot possibly show the tonality of a wet print.... sadly this is the limitation of web photosites.... they can't replicate a print. Cheers!

I agree, the burn looks too heavy on the screen. But not in print thankfully!

Me too! PS makes life so easy... perhaps too easy? I remembered that I made the exp's at 400, and developed accordingly, but still it was less effort to make prints in PS than in a darkroom from the hi-cont negs.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks! It was scanned from the neg, but accidentally exposed APX100 @ 400, hence the high-contrast.
Cheers, Mark
