Awesome lighting and atmosphere to this photo. The angle of the shot enhances the repeating lines of the bridge perfectly. Wonderfully done and congrats on the BIP.

Wonderful shot of Mt. Hood Rob; love the natural look to this shot and the puff of cloud hanging around. Personally, I'd like a little more breathing room above the peak ;)

I like the treatment you have done on this photo; the desaturation gives it a wonderful mood and the strong vignette effect isolates the subject well. Nice work Robert.

Great shot Joel, love the trails of mist surrounding the plane and the timing is perfect, showing off the plane perfectly. Those clouds are a great backdrop as well - much more dramatic than the usual blue skies.

Couldn't have asked for a better backdrop. Great shot of these pelicans Jinggoy - love the soft fading light from the sunset.

Thanks for the tips Jinggoy. I currently don't use PS and use another image basic editor for my photos. I really need to upgrade my computer and start using PS though, especially for double exposures like you mentioned.

Hi Jinggoy,
Thanks for the comment. Today was my only day off to try and get down to Fleet Week, but I had to take care of things in the morning and didn't feel like dealing w/ traffic in the afternoon. Maybe next year :)

Hi Jinggoy,

Great portrait of this tree - a wonderful subject, where no two trees really share the same character. You've captured this perfectly with the solid composition. The time of day creating the nice lighting on top of the tree is perfect. Congrats on the SC award!

Joel,

The weather certainly was perfect for the show - unfortunately, I couldn't make it down there today. Driving around, traffic was a real pain. I can't imagine going down there on Sunday lol. I might hop a ride w/ a friend though, so we'll see. Looking forward to your pics from today :)

Wonderful soothing landscape Emanuele. I like the feeling of peace induced by the haze engulfing these mountains. The multiple layers of these mountain silhouettes are perfect; very well captured.

Hi Joel,
Good to see you were able to capture some photos from today. Although overcast, I like the simple approach to this shot. Sometimes you have to work with the weather and make the best of it and you certainly did. Nice work.

A great play with light and shadows, your specialty ;) I like the negative space I feel with the darkness and the light shining through creates a nice feel of texture. Excellent work as always my friend.
