Great work for the first day! I recently got a digital too - great fun isn't it? Very liberating I find. I like the unusual composition and framing here and her pose and expression are great! The highlight from the window is a little bit distracting - if you were able to tone it down a bit I think it might improve the image a little, but as it stands it's great! Good luck with the camera!
