Very nice scale of grey and mood in this composition. Good to see that some people still believe in using silver gelatine films instead of digital stuff ;-)

You stated that this was taken with an Agfapan APX 100. I just wonder, how a BW film can produce colour images...

I simply love those colours and the oervall atmosphere of this shot. And thanks for using using film and not digital equipment... ;-)

The whole Tokanui series is impressing and reflects to me the heavy and depressing atmosphere which fills obviously this place.
I am just a bit puzzled because it seems that a softening filter has been applied at least to some of the pictures. The softness is somehow in a contradiction with the place, while harsh lines and contrasts would fit better with the subject.
But anyway, I love that series and it's a pity that appparently you can't continue shooting photos there anymore.

Nice work. You captured the old fashioned and sometimes mysterious atmosphere of this famous Paris church. The use of a classic emulsion as the Tri-X works very well here and ads a dimension which can hardly be obtained with the so called "modern" digital equipment.

I would say nearly the same as Carolyn. There is just one thing, the line between the sea and the sky isn't exactly horizontal (see attachment). It's the first thing one can see when looking at the picture and that's a pity because otherwise the composition and the mood are nice.

Nice idea for a shot. Obviously you added artificial noise to the picture with PS. If you like the effect of grain, I would suggest that you consider shooting photos with analogic equipment such as silver gelatine films etc. instead of using a digital camera... ;-)
