This is a fine study, Paul, you've handled the tonal range perfectly, and the composition has a pleasing symmetry around a diagonal. I love the semi-matt glint on the walls. Bravo!

Nice moment you've caught, almost hear the emotion she's putting in her music.
Maybe if to cropped it a bit more to the right (when her hand'll be full in the image) the shot would be more balanced. Also a tip: try to keep the mike out of the face, this would've made her expression even stronger.

Hi Paul.

extraordinary perspective stuff. The chimney is something to think about IMHO, as it hits the border in a distracting way.

nice work anyway.

Great expression. Love the shadowplay and the backlight. I would consider to crop from the bottom, add more dark space on the right and switch to landscape. Just my two cent of course.
Would love to see more!

Paul that is a hard question to answer "what would I do differently" I have made VERY few street fotographs and even fewer good ones but I do enjoy viewing good street fotographie very much. For me I always find a foto to be more interesting if it has strong contrast of moods or moments... or even good humor is quite striking. There is always that element in good street fotographie that makes you scratch your head and say "wow, what an observation!". I happen to enjoy Oliver Dienst's fotographie very much... maybe you will too http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/56042.html

thanks Paul!!!

Hi Bryan, thanks for your long comment! Well, you're right that this picture has nothing really special, I just wanted to do a shot in the underground, and I liked how it turned out, capturing a bit of the atmosphere of a London underground train. What would you have done to get a picture that is more appealing, framed differently? Focused more onto one of the faces?

Greetings,

Paul

well Paul the thumbnail says crique only so I will try my best the fotograph, IMO, has potential but as it stands now there is nothing of visual interest. nothing to really pull the viewer in. because of this, it appears a bit static and doesn't really allow me to engage with the foto. You know what I'm saying? Also I think the foto overall would be better with a little more contrast. as always these are just opinions. enjoy the day or night
