Was this an infrared filter or Photoshop?

real funny and natural!! a true hit in the face of photo rules and techniques: face defocused, leaning orizon....
but the photo go so well the same: a kind of not-studied shot taken just to have a souvenir of a special happy moment.

St. Marks Square? Brings back memories. I like this shot a lot. The exposure is well done, long enough for ghosting, short enough to tell it is people. The warm light works well also. i guess my only nit pic is that the foreground really is't interesting to me. I might crop it. Well done.

Tanya,

Been a long time since I've seen your work my friend. Pretty cool contrast regarding this capture.

Don't worry, as I think I'm crazy, maybe, too!

Tanya, this feels like a composite, and not a refelction, and it's really nice! Welcome back, girl.

Tanya-- this is an exceptional portrait and does not give the feeling of a composite but rather an integrated story of the two differeing views of the "self"; maybe an indication of madness or maybe not. Bravo for a thought provoking portrait.

When we look at something (like ourselves in the mirror) we tend to view them as black and white, yet the world we live in is lush a colorful. Is it the realization of this to which your title refers?
