How utterly amazing - 7 hours - I agree about a little more space top /bottom - so as to really show off this remarkable piece of work to it's best advantage, but your eyes really need a rest now. Many congrats

Yes, it is indeed sad. The swastika was a symbol of great beauty before hitler damned it for all time... the pentagram is almost as bad now. Thank you for your comment... Blessed be

Rose,
People will never get it even though your brave enough to post it without fear of repercussion. Good for you. I understand because of a certain background but people see this and run the other way. My husband also wears one for protection.
Nicely done photograph of it.

Thank you and yes you are right... it wasn't until I saw it on the thumbnail page that I noticed the lack of space, lol, I'll probably fix that tomorrow... tonight my eyes are doing the two-step after working so long on it. Thanks again... and thank you Carolyn

I love this and to know that you not only photographed it but created it as well is astonishing indeed. Wonderful work. My niece's bedroom is decorated in this theme. It is quite soothing.

Masterful! This is exciting creativity. You have merged the three animals in such a way that one would believe this mythical creature truly existed. The soft colours and textures are lovely. The sheer satin feel of the sphere is remarkable. The only thing I would nitpik would be to leave a little more space at the top and bottom, maybe 1/4 inch.

I was once a skeptic but have had a few too many weird things happen that make me think twice. I believe you and since the next pic taken seconds later shows nothing, it is hard to dismiss this. A very thought provoking capture. There have always been weird sounds in my son's bedroom which is now the computer room. Only this room photographs orbs. Every once in a while our bathroom taps come on full blast during the night. They are the type you have to pull up to turn on, no handles to turn. Strange without reasonable explanation. Most of us disbelieve what we can't explain but if you stop and think of the sheer miracle of humans in and of itself, why then could there not be something more out there.

I am primarily an airbrush artist... symmetrical designs and symbols have always attracted me. I became a Master Herbologist and found a great interest in plants... somehow I combined everything and ended up doing Mandalas. I find it extremely relaxing. My friends think I'm nuts and can't imagine the patience it takes. For me it is my get-away from life and worries. Thanks Teunis

confession: I used the xenofex flood filter in Photoshop. It is amazing the control you have over waves, reflections and perspective with this filter. Thank you for your comment

This is absolutely fantastic. Your PS skills are amazing. The atmosphere you have created is definitely haunting. You certainly lived up to the challenge. The faces in the clouds, the addition of the gargoyle breathing fire, simply spectacular. The aging of the stone and selective window lighting, also incredible. Well done!
