a nice shot of a nice city. you did well to make the thick glass on the chopper not noticable. i actually thought you had taken it with the door open.

very clear and clenly done shot.

gorgeous model. I like the warm colors. the only thing that bugs me is the shine on her nose. other than that great shot.

Been distracted from Usefilm for a while so just seeing this now. I like it very much. There is a soft focus effect on the hair at the top of the shot that I like. Nice crop on this as well, creating an unusual balance between the body limbs and head. Candid but posed...

Mark

narabia,
thanks for all of your insights. to me there is no such thing as "random" in the universe. even though we might not always see it, there is a design to everything we see, hear, feel, etc.
all the best,
erik

Lens work well here. I am not sure about the composition. It seems to be random. There are nor rules... but sometimes the lack of rules is the rule Of course composition is up to the author. So I can add only that love the softness here.

Along with many others on UF, I was quite taken with "persephone #1" which to me exemplified a simple youthful exuberance that was uplifting and easy to look at. This one, Erik, is confusing to me and it might be the mixed signals the model is radiating. Her bodily stance, with the cocked elbow, the hand on the hip, and the full frontal view at first appears to be one of confrontation. Yet, her facial expression is one of confusion, like she can't believe what she is seeing. Somehow, the two together just don't play for me. If she had been partially turned, maybe then, the message may have come across differently. Nevertheless, the lighting is superb, the model is attractive, and the colors are interesting. I love #1, but #2 is less effective. Anson

Hi Erik, excellent shot, with the minimal use of tools and equipment. I like the angle too, it prevents such a simple approach from becoming static. Great shot.

I'm not sure if I would've "cleaned up" the spots on the surface, in a way, it makes it a bit less slick, yet on the other hand, it does add to the feel of the photo. I'm indecisive, I guess....

The tones and saturation are top notch, Awesome photo, Just my style...

Cheers,

Hugo
