A beautiful scene and stunning sunset. I like the "tower" and wonder if this would have even more impact if it was cropped would follow the rule of thirds vertically with it being on the third line rather than so close to the center.

I used a Velvia simulator in PS, so the colors are a bit more saturated than in actuality. This is actually a 16x20 print. It looses a bit when compressing and popsting at 750x500.

Thank you very much. Weather permiting, I am going to go back to this spot with a telephoto lens and a tripod with softer morning light. It's nice to see the earth come to life once more here in Washington DC.

Thanks, Kristina. I must admit that I owe the focus to my PixelGenius sharpening plug-in. There was great natural light but not enough to completely stop her movement. I selectively sharpened the eyes, brows, and texture of her lips to give a more sharp feel to the picture. Although I find that these 1D Canons are phenomenal but require a lot of USM after the shot.
