I like this, Sebastian. Love the focus on the eyes and the way the light makes the dolls eyes crystal. Nice low key lighting as well... Very clever :)

Very Warhol-esque.
I think this was a success, regardless of whether it's what your friend wanted or not!
Keep up the great work! J

I like the green and blue tones and the off center subject. I would have preferred the composition to have moved up a bit more to show more of the trees. Still, it is a nice picture.

Hugo,
The shot shows a lot of pool because that is what it is - a pool shot. I have a few shots with the horizon in the top third of the frame but this is the shot that everyone liked best

Hi Sebastian, very well exposed photo, using the available light very well indeed. It creates a very tranquil yet luxurious and warm feel. The only thing that disturbs me a bit in this photo is the composition, showing quite a lot of pook, but cropping off the tree tops. It also places the horizon dead center. Just curious why....
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks for the comment Joanna. I was actually going for a soft look; In retrospect I should have blurred the wiskers so the whole image looks soft.

This is a very tender image with excellent use of shallow DOF. I do wish just a little more of the dog were in focus though. Now, only 2 of his wiskers and the woman's lower lip are in sharp focus. Just a little more sharpness in the dog's nose would have been great. Joanna

A really nice idea and I like the clarity. I think if you play around with the contrast a bit and the color a bit that the "waterfall" effect can be enhanced. It may not have been possible with your camera, but I do wish the entire dome were in the picture.

Thank you, I actually used the landscape style in the Canon's new DPP. It saved me a lot of work that I would have usually done in PS.

It was shot like this intentionally, I did not want more detail and edited the photo as such. Besides, if I used a flash it would be noticeable on the glass.
