Nice composition, and the good choice of DOF emphasizes the feeling of solitude. Nice tones too Cheers Devin Fabrice

I really like the mood created by the soft focus, and the frame is a good choice. You might try cropping more off the right, maybe centering your subject, or putting her off to the right. A crop would make the photos proportions closer to the subjects proportions, and possibly get rid of some of the negative space on the right side, there is a lot of white up there right now.

I liked your other image so much I thought I'd check out some of your other work. I have to say this is the most beautiful daisy image I've seen. If at all possible go back in spring and do a series on this subject alone. Awesome work!

When we were kids, we used to have one that had markings like Apple. His name was Buttons. Guinea pigs are perfect posers, because they sit still for a long time. Beautiful picture!

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for the comment. Her wing has indeed fracturesd many years ago and it had healed incorrectly before she was brought into a wildlife rehabilitator. I work at a refuge for endangered wildlife and she is one of our unreleasable animal ambassadors! Thanks again!

As kids, we used to have guinea pigs (cavies) and one of them liked to pose. They're beautiful animals, and you did a wonderful job with this photograph of a very handsome one.
