Great playing, lovely result.
Thank you for the comment as far as the 5700 goes I have had mine for about 8 months and get on really well. Have achieved some good results with macros [which I love doing. My partner [Den Thompson] has just upgraded to the D70 from the 8700. I am probably going to have that one, just getting a possible problem checked out. Have posted several shots I took with the 8700. Do you like yours, had a quick glance at your portfolio, which is excellent, and wondered if your 5700 is fairly new to you.

Great job Phil, I like this kind big sky stuff with a small secondary suject. But, I guess that depends on what you consider primary. Anyway, I think it's awesome! I live on lake Michigan in Wisconsin and always look for these shots, keep em coming, Cary

Nikon d70 that i just bought 2 months ago. and I carry a canon powershot pro1 with me ALL the time becaue its small and gives me great results.
I bought a D100 a couple years ago and have over 20,000 shots on it. use nikon because i have a bag full of lens's I got over time. There a lot of camera's that put out good images now.

What a beauty ! Talk about nice shape. We have a WWII ace in this coutry named Richard Bong. Well he grew up about 30 miles from where i live and they have restored a P38 and put it inside, It used to sit on a pylon outside in his hometown of Poplar Wisconsin.
I have to get over to the New site and photograph it. Check him out on google.
Great shot by the way
