Hi Luis thanks, there are some wider shots in my port., but to really capture the scale of this boat you need to be ina helicopter.
Cheers, Chris

Nice landscape, well exposed, natural looking colors and great sky. The effect of the clouds to pull you into the image works well,

Amazing view, I like the square crop.
Debating about whether adding contrast and abit of saturation would help. Has a very natural feel as is now,

Nice composition, good blue sky/white clouds that contrast nicely witht he yellow in the field.
I just wonder about a wider shot that shows the entire tree?

Thanks Aliihsan, these are very difficult photos to capture.
Typically you would use a technique where the photo boat would be stationary, allowing for sharper images - however, because of the speed of this catamaran we were constantly moving to remove within a suitable distance of them.

Thanks Doyle. I jumped in a press boat immediatly after they launched Orange.
We followed them side by side as long as we could, we were actually UNABLE to keep up with them in a inflatable with two 250HP Yamahas. Check the last couple of uploads to see the boat at sail.

Hi Janet. About what time was this taken? You probably already know this, but late in the day you can get great golden tones. Also, I'm not sure if your camera has manual controls, but if it does, try to vary the shutter speed abit between shots of the same thing - that way if one is too dark or light, you'll have others to pick from.

Highlights are just abit blown out, but w/ specular it's OK. Looks like there was alot of contrast in this scene. Alittle bigger upload and more color saturation may increase impact as well.

Looks like a nice landscape, but over-photoshopped for me. The whitish halos around the horizon/trees are a dead give away.
Composition is well done.
This also might look good in B&W as well.

I think you are far too young to have any grown male saying you're cute and would question his motives... you look like youre about thirteen.
I would reccommend putting yourself BEHIND the camera and showing us what you can capture,

Wow...youre gorgeous... and not a bad photographer either. I LIKE the natural look of your skin... not air-brushed and smoothed out fake.
The way your hair melts into the background works.
I'm guessing from all the self portraits, theres not too much exciting going on in KS?

Overall a nice nature shot, I find the out of focus branch to dominate abit too much. Good color combo between the feathers and background. Good sharp detail in the birds eye.

nice use of limited DOF, hard to tell whether the fore or back is the main interest, but I find that to be an attractive point of the photo.
