Great Maritime image - also loved you "Waterfront Property" Excellent
I also wonder about the 5 seacond shutter speed -You would have needed a tripod for that - Certainly at f16 for that time of evening 5 seconds seems possible.

This is wonderful, Bren -- especially the grain and your perspective, which really captures his beautiful eyes. The rest, we can imagine, and I like it when a photograph leaves room for imagination. Nice!

Hi Bren,
I've been off the scene a while but had to comment on this photo. It's great!! Shallow depth of field, nice balance to the tones and a subject who clearly didn't want to be where he was at that moment (poor fella!. My czech friend here beside me thinks it would have been better if you hadn't half-cropped out the head of the lady in the background but I think that she was incidental to the subject of the shot and remain convinced it's a good 'un!!

wow, fantastic image of Mono Lake. i just love this area. i was just there a few months ago and the water was quite low so the formations really showed.
