Great guess, Dev. I've been shooting Meredith for a while now and she gets more confident with each shoot. Jovana is young and new to modeling. This was her first real experience in front of a camera. I think she can be really good with more experience.

Hi Paul,
I noticed that as well. I had the boxes a little too close this time. I think I'll try to clone it out in PS. Thanks for critiquing.

Omar, it was lit with one large softbox that was just out of the frame. The background is just black cloth. R.

Grazie Giuliano!
She did not have to stay too still...I used studio flash. It is good to see another Large Format photographer on this site.
This was my first time using the 8x10. One hour and only 4 photos!

Thank you Florencia.
This detail pales in comparison to the actual photo. I shot it on 4x5 and scanned it at an equivalent to about 80 megapixals. Nothing beats large format!Robert

Thank you, Peta. It took a while to set it up. Expensive film does that to me...I need to slow down and get it right or go broke!

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not a licensed dermatologist. :-)

Hi Paul. Yes, just one large softbox on her. Another on the background.

Thanks!

Yes, Josh. Three lights - one studio light in softbox camera right, one bounceing off an umbrella behind her to the left, and an SB-28 with a mini softbox highlighting the hair on the right. Rob

Thanks Hugo. The bright skin is more a result of Photoshop work than lighting. Diffuse glow to be exact. Not sure if I overdid it or not...maybe I'll cut back a bit. Hmm.

Ron, it wasn't explicitly the intention, but that's the thing about Jenna...you don't know which beautiful feature to look at first!
