This is a great photo shot of a great tennis shot by one Andre (Denis)of another Andre (Agassi). Quite a few similarites of shot making between the two Andre's! Lol. You caught Agassi in a great two handed backhand shot, and that effect you created, black & white then toning it slightly with brown tint, gave the whole feel more impact in my opinion. Good photo and great topic matter!

Hi Andre. Another great photo, after i just saw the one on Andre Agassi. Amazing! Here you caught Nadel with picture perfect form, as he pronates his hitting arm in order to impart the heavy topspin he hits. I have taught tennis for many years, and this is a poster shot!! I'm going to have to find out from ATP possibly the USTA or even Agassi, whether or not this can be used for commercial art. Very likely not without consent, but we will see. You have your first customer for the print in me.

Very interesting to read the comments regarding where this picture is. Its in the Westchester/Inglewood area of Los Angeles. Many movies have been shot of this donut establishment. Its a well known LA landmark...not 100% sure it it is still there though. Great subject for a photo!

Steve here from io. I like this photo and those photos you do that have some richer contrast/tones in the sky, mountains and water. Here the white snow-capped mountains against the blue tone below is good. My main point, if it is not a B&W photo, on some photos we look for color and vibrancy in the shots. At some point i would like to tweat, facebook and do other social media with some of your work as your locations are great! We need color and vibrancy. This is just my opinion of course, and we have a whole staff with varying opinions. Take care.

This image is not just rich in color, contrasts and in its simplicity as others have mentioned, but the caption in my opinion actually enhances the total impact of the photo itself. It shows how a well thought out photo with a near perfect caption, Road to Nowhere, can make a dramatic statement. I can see this photo with caption as a greeting card in which parents for example, can give to their high school children with the not so subtle message "Get a great education or you may risk going down a 'Road to Nowhere'. Ok, for some that message would be overly dramatic, but the main point being that a good or great photo with a GREAT caption can make for a powerful message!
