Hi! Danny, I can't believe ther's been little response to this ,thus far. The DOF in the background and the slight fringing around the horses, lends me to believe that this is a composite image. If this is so, then all I can say is congratulations, it's expertly done! The final result is magnificent and and deserves an award! fantastic subject, and brilliant B/W with beautiful range of tones. Very well doneon a great result! Kind regards......Jim. Ps. Let me know if a composite.

Thanks Jim! for taking the time and effort to critique this image. I happen to agree with everying you recommend! I took the shot in a hurry as I did'nt want the couple to notice, and as I was preparing the shot they turned, so I just pressed the button. I was afraid to crop in case I would loose to much of the image. Nonetheless I'll have a go and see what happens. Again may thanks and kind regards....Jim.

Great shot, Anthony! As you said, this shot is all about the colour, which is really vibrant and eye catching. Great composition and clarity. The lanterns are a real plus, and give the shot real added interest. All in all a wonderful shot with a real sense of Mexico about it! Very well done! Regards.....Jim.

Fantastic title for a great shot, Saad! All his body language and concentration, suggests he's playing some piece or other and the curve on the counter is very like the profile on a piano. Very well seen, Saad! Kind regards, Jim.

Saad, thanks for your comments, Your absolutely right about flipping the image, it would make it more pleasing to the eye. The simple truth is that I never even thought about doing it, not having done it before. It's a simple procedure, so I'll give it a go. Thanks again Saad! Regards...Jim.

Thanks for your comments, Tony! To answer your question regarding 'flash', in this case no! I had a very strong evening sun, very low on the horizon, to aid me. And with a little selective 'dodging and burning' in photoshop, to enhance the existing shadows and highlights, the result is what you see. Hope this is of some help. Regards.....Jim.

Very nice image Txules! Has a very Japaneese flavour to it, like oriental caligraphy! Great photo!, nice to see someone brave enough to use a heavily grained image, which in this case really enhances the overall effect. Regards,...JIM
