Very nice moment.
I'd suggest just two things. Crop off a portion of the ceiling (upto the horizontal line above the lintel beam, and move the stool in foreground a little off-centre (preferably right).

i love it! there are mirrors like this all over japan but you rarely see them in photos. just wish it was little bit closer.
