Very nice! He looks almost like one of my previous cats (I miss him, RIP) Snowball. Here is a pic. http://www.usefilm.com/image/298169.html
Mine had green eyes though and could hear fine. I have read that most white cats with blue eyes are deaf? Is that true of your Mr. Snow?

Absolutely stunning! Both the photo and the model. A great job to set up a perfect location and model, and then get the shot technically bang on as well. Well done.

Very nice composite. Scares the hell out of me, but it is very nicely done just the same.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Animals are family too. I am glad you can see the wisdom that they are now together and in a place where they will no longer have any pain.

Very nice portrait of your great dog. I think a subtle blurring of the flowers would make Patrick stand out more. (without losing the colour from the flowers, which I think add to the photo)Very nicely done.

A very nice image that captures the essence of a cat. I am a bit distracted by the perspective distortion of his left paw. (bottom right of image) Did you consider darkening that out in PS?

Hi Patrick. My comment about it not being chauvinistic was a response to what Sam had said. Sam said it was chauvenistic, I said it was not. It bothers me when people are rude and insulting like that, because of something that they do not understand. Like I said in my post, I like the lighting and the concept.

I agree that comments should be about the technique, not about stupid insults. I hope you did not think I was being insulting. I was simply stating my belief that this one (IMHO) is not quite up to the standards of some of your other shots. I meant no disrespect.

I think that the lighting is nice, and the concept is solid, but I am not a big fan of the overdone makup and hair. I am a fan of your work, but this is not one of your better images. (and it is not chauvenistic)

Much of your work reminds me of the great Helmut Newton. (may he rest in peace)
Remember he caused lots of controversy too, so maybe you can take the critical comments of others in perspective.

Ordinarily, I would not like a cat photo where the ears are cropped off. However in this case, because of the wonderful low perspective, it works. It really looks like the curious kitty is looking down underneath something to see you.

Nicely done.

I think this is a great shot. I did a bit of a double take when I realized you had put the picture inside the picture (in the album) as well. Well done.
