Pretty spectacular view, Kess - you can certainly see why it's called the Blue Ridge! You'd better try to get back up there when the trees in the distance are changing, too!

Kessia this is absolutely beautiful, I would love to drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway, maybe one of these days. I love how you have framed the tree and view with these wonderful rocky mountains on either side. That splash of color in the bright light is very eyecatching, really nice job. Love it. Madre

Very cool picture. I love B&W pictures of people and this is really nice because of the lines are arches of the building.

i dont think the praying mantis is ugly at all, a fascinating creature really :>) was the entire insect visible from the other side of the plant? this shot is good but a different angle would be interesting as well.

good work ~ james

What a beautiful scene, Kessia - the blue of that sky is just incredible! Did you use a polarizer for this one? The shadow of the clouds coming in on the right adds a nice quality to the light on the hills!

Beutiful, Kess. For real. Didn't you just want to lie down on the grass and stare into nothing but sky? I always feel like doing that when the sky is gorgeous. Love,

Great Shot Kessia! I love the clouds shots as well. I find myself looking up constantly when I have the top down. The color of the sky and the cloud cover is always great when I come down that way. I really like how you composed this as well; 1/3 land and 2/3's sky...just Great!!

Hi Kessia and Morgan.

This is a Lovely Classic Landscape Shot, The Comp and colors are Spot on. I Like the fact the shot has clouds in the Upper right of the Shot to give it more Depth. The reflection oof of the water are awesome. All around great shot. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I have begun collecting beautiful 'skyscapes' of my own into their own folder, so when I shoot something that has a bland, cloudless, or grey sky, I can replace it with something more appropriate!

Nice shooting, Kessia!
